Rated 2 out of 5 by from Issues with ammo [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nerf Rival Fate XXII-100 uses a different type of ammo from most other Nerf guns that our family has tried. Rather than darts, it uses small blue balls. The balls are made from a rather firm foam, so they hurt more when you get hit by them. They are also impossible to keep track of. The first day out of the box, the kids lost all of the ammo balls. It took quite a while to track them back down and still it's hard to keep them with the gun. It would be better if the gun came with a lot more balls, and if the ammo material was a softer foam.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great toy, for adults! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gun is NOT a child's toy. However, teens may find it amusing. It is the equivalent of a hand gun with rubber bullets. Included features that make this more realistic than a standard Nerf are a safety lock, circular rubber balls that make them very hard to find after bouncing around everywhere, and an adjustable sight. The 'bullet' force is quite strong, so this is meant more for target practice than real nerf fights. For mature teens and adults looking for a Nerf equivalent of a bb gun, look no further. Children 13 and under stay away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Son is a huge fan! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Nerf gun is a next-level gun! My 16-year-old son is overjoyed to have been given it. He loves the colors on it as well which is blue, yellow, orange, and black. He also likes the reloading of the balls which you do you need to reload every time you fire. It comes with 3 balls and each one packs a bit of a punch. This gun shoots them fast and with a slight bit of power.  It also has an adjustable sight to help with a more accurate shot. The gun is also very high quality I am blown away at this design.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Too old for this? [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like playing around with this Fate XXII-100 Nerf Rival gun! It looks cool, shoots really far, it even has an adjustable rear sight so you can get a better aim. I like that it is brightly colored, so it would never be mistaken for a real gun. The rounds are compatible with all of the Rival Blasters so that makes it easier to reload when playing with others. My son loves it too and is probably tired of me playing with his toy, but it is just that fun!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super Slick! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one cool looking Nerf gun! It has a nice weight to it too. It shoots great but it doesn’t shoot the normal kind of nerf bullets that we’re used to - you have to use these precision balls. So, that just means more ammo to buy - just a heads up. Besides that though, this gun is awesome - it isn’t too crazy and the trigger mechanism is good to pull. Great gift for any kid - the colors remind me of the late 90’s which is definitely nostalgic.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from POWERFUL! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently tried out the Nerf RIval Fate XXlll-100 and I was shocked at how realistic it is. This gun looks nice and is easy to handle. The sight is very accurate and it actually shoots a pretty good distance. The downfall is that it takes rubber balls instead of the normal nerf bullets, therefore it is another ammo that I need to purchase. Upon playing this with my twelve year old I determined that it is not a child's toy. It is pretty powerful and the rounds leave some serious marks upon being hit. I was totally not expecting that. I would recommend this to others, but only parents with older teens or as an adult toy. Overall it is a very nice product and works great, but I just think it is a little much for anyone under about fifteen.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very strong [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay so this is the nerf gun you put away from your kids that aren't very responsible. The power and impact from this nerf gun is very high so parents please take that into consideration. I went out to test the product myself. The drawback takes a bit of strength to do but the accuracy and distance the gun achieves is higher than the normal nerf gun products. It made a huge impression on the kids.

My 6 year old son and 12 year old daughter both played with this Nerf gun for hours and never got tired! It was easy for both kids to use which was nice because I didn't have to step in and help them. The toy is also very strong and durable so it'll hold up during rough play. I definitely recommend this Nerf gun to everyone and all ages!
